Job summary

Magna Electronics in Bengaluru, India, is seeking an experienced automotive systems/SW/HW engineer to contribute to the development of advanced ADAS technologies. The candidate will work within a global team on safety-critical automotive projects, applying industry standards and best practices.

The role requires 5+ years in automotive systems and 6+ years in functional safety (ISO 26262), with strong knowledge of safety concepts and experience applying standards across hardware and software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Automotive system/ SW/ HW engineering.
• 6+ years of experience in Automotive Functional Safety domain (ISO 26262).
• Excellent knowledge of ISO 26262 with proven implementation experience.
• Strong background in systems, hardware or software engineering for ADAS products.
• Excellent knowledge in creation of Functional and Technical Safety Concepts.
• Comprehensive knowledge in Safety Analysis for system, hardware and software using FMEA, FTA, FMEDA, DFA and Control/Data Flow methods.
• ISO21448 (SOTIF) knowledge is a big plus.
• Hands-on experience in working with engineering processes (such as ASPICE).
• Knowledge of requirements & configurations tools, e.g., PLM and ALM tools (PTC, Code beamer, Windchill).
• Domestic and international travel may be needed.
