Job summary

Magna Electronics in Bengaluru invites applications for a System Test Engineer role focused on driving automotive software testing in a fast-paced environment. You will contribute to validation across embedded systems, develop and execute test cases, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality of complex electronic systems.

The position requires hands-on experience with automotive test tools, embedded C/C++, and AUTOSAR knowledge, along with strong debugging and design-review

Qualifications

• Experience in system test and integration testing in automotive environments.
• Strong knowledge of embedded software testing processes and test case generation.
• Good debugging, problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Hands on experience of vTestStudio, CANoe, VT System, CAN stress tools.
• Strong knowledge of CAPL, Python, VB, XML/ARXML preferred.
• Understanding of detailed design, architecture and SRS and reviews.
• Strong knowledge of generating software test cases from detailed design, architecture and SRS.
• Automotive domain with knowledge of AUTOSAR, ASPICE, Functional safety, MISRA.
• Knowledge of AUTOSAR software structure such as BSW, APPLICATION, RTE.
• Strong knowledge of CAN, UDS diagnostics, bootloader, cyber security and Ethernet protocols.
• Knowledge of Compilers (GCC, Tasking), debuggers (I System, Lauterbach), Build process.
• Knowledge of Real Time Operating Systems Concepts.
• Software development lifecycle knowledge.
• CICT, Automation.

Job Responsibilities

System Test expert in SW Development engineering process, tools and setup development to lead a team

Experience in System Integration test (Sys.4) & System Qualification test (Sys.5).

ADAS product/test experience desired, automotive electronics must
