Job summary

Magna Electronics in Bengaluru is seeking a Software Test Engineer to help advance automotive technologies in a dynamic, global team. The role focuses on implementing robust testing processes, automation, and test environments to ensure high-quality embedded systems.

The candidate should have hands-on expertise with Embedded C/C++, CAPL, Python, and AUTOSAR, and a strong understanding of MISRA and functional safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Expertise in software testing processes, automation frameworks, and test environment architecture
• Strong experience in SWE.5 (SW Integration Testing) and SWE.6 (SW Qualification Testing)
• Deep knowledge of embedded systems, AUTOSAR (BSW, RTE, Application), ASPICE, Functional Safety, MISRA
• Proficiency in Embedded C/C++, CAPL, Python, VB, XML/ARXML
• Maintains safe work practices, complies with Magna H&S requirements, and participates in training and hazard reporting.
