Job summary

Petrofac is seeking a Finance Manager to lead all financial activities for the assigned entities and act as a business partner to the GM and business functions. The role focuses on month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, with responsibility for audits and statutory compliance.

The candidate will coordinate with tax consultants, manage stakeholder expectations, and drive financial insights to support strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• CA qualification required or equivalent, with professional accounting credentials.
• Significant experience (5+ years) in a large organization.
• Strong Excel skills and data analysis capability.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close activities including accruals, prepayments and GL review.
• Coordinate tax assessments with consultants for direct/indirect taxes.
• Oversee audits (external/internal/tax) for the entities.
• Plan and implement budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial reporting packs with insights.

JOB TITLE: Finance Manager

Responsible for leading all the financial activities for the assigned legal entities and act as a business partner to the General Manager and Business functions

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform the month end book closing activities and reconciliations including accruals, prepayments, general ledger review


• Support the tax (direct and indirect) assessments in coordination with tax consultants


• Lead the external, internal and tax audit for the assigned legal entities


• Execute the planning and budgeting activities and develop financial reports for forecasting, trending, and results analysis.


• Prepare Monthly / Quarterly / Annual financial reporting packs along with variance analysis


• Ensure Statutory payments are made on a timely basis and in accordance with statutory requirements


• Lead the coordination with other functions within the organization


• Performs any other duties as and when required by the supervisor

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION & SKILLS:

• Post qualification degree in accounting (preferably Chartered Accountant)


• Significant previous experience out of which five years in a large organization


• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is critical


• Understanding of financial impact of actions and active stakeholder engagement


• Good communication skills verbal, written; good presentation skills


• Excellent analytical skills, and ability to think on feet / identify salient points


• Capacity to challenge assumptions and come up with innovative solutions
