Job summary

Petrofac invites a seasoned Manager – Engineering Quality to lead the Quality Management team and partner with project leaders to ensure robust QA/QC across our engineering projects in India. The role emphasizes driving design integrity reviews, KPI monitoring, and effective corrective actions.

You will mentor staff, oversee audits, and advance QMS implementation while coordinating with offshore and Sharjah offices where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience leading QA/QC teams on large-scale engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems and processes (ISO 9001:2015).
• Proven ability to mentor and develop quality professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the Quality Management team.
• Collaborate with GM, functional managers, and project personnel to implement efficient QMS and processes.
• Manage design and technical integrity reviews for projects.
• Establish and monitor PEC Quality KPIs.
• Review and revise QA Procedures and Plans as needed.
• Oversee internal and external audits per ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
• Ensure effectiveness of corrective actions and action close-outs.
• Chair Quality Management Review meetings and drive Lessons Learned implementation.
• Provide QA/QC support to projects during execution.
• Enhance QMS implementation through training and inductions.

JOB TITLE:Manager – Engineering Quality

• Provide leadership to the Quality Management team.
• Works with the GM, functional managers, and other personnel to provide technical support and ensure the implementation of efficient and adequate Quality Management systems and processes.
• Ensure functional assurance process of Projects by managing design and technical integrity reviews.
• Ensure PEC Quality KPIs are established and monitored regularly.
• Ensure Quality Assurance Procedures and Plans are reviewed and revised suitably.
• Ensure Internal and External Audits are managed as per ISO 9001:2015 requirements and Guidelines.
• Ensure the effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Chair and facilitate the Quality Management Review Process. Support Management for timely action close-outs.
• Manage Lessons Learned mechanism and ensure its implementation in projects/disciplines.
• Ensure that the QA/QC team manages project quality assurance requirements, including quality planning, documenting plans and procedures, training and implementation, surveillance and audits, monitoring quality trends, corrective and preventive action, reviews, and reports.
• Provide quality assurance support to the project during execution.
• Enhance QMS system implementation through training and Conduct regular induction of recruits.
• Conduct specific workshops/training sessions on key procedures (as required).
• Establish an effective interface with the Sharjah Office.
• Mentor and develop the QA team to the highest professional and performance standards through appropriate training and certification.

Perform any other related duties and responsibilities as Corporate Quality requires.
