The Senior Manager – Electrical role leads a team of engineers and designers in home office and engineering centre, delivering large-scale projects on time, within budget, and in full compliance with contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Lead a team of engineers and designers in Home office/Engineering centre for large-scale projects.
• Provide guidance on planning of engineering activities and manpower resources.
• Establish performance criteria and develop team competency.
• Coordinate quality audits and ensure timely closure of actions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of engineers and designers in Home office and EC to carry out detailed engineering work for large-size projects.
• Take complete responsibility for execution of the project including detailed engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning phases as per contract.
• Ensure manpower resources of Electrical Engineers Team are adequate and utilized efficiently.
• Interact with peers across globe to ensure consistency of work across all offices.
• Lead design reviews, SAFOP and constructability reviews as needed.

JOB TITLE:Senior Manager – Electrical

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervise and lead a team of engineers and designers in Home office and Engineering centre (EC) to carryingoutdetailedengineeringworkforlargesizeprojects.Takecompleteresponsibilityforexecutionof the project comprising of detailed engineering work, procurement related activities and support during construction and commissioning phases as per Contract requirement. Ensure execution of the project as per contract requirements, meeting project schedules & within budgeted-man hours

• Facilitateandco-ordinatemanpowerrecruitmentprocessinconsultationwithHOD
• Conductregulartechnicalinterviewsforpotentialnewhires.
• Providenecessaryguidanceonplanningofallengineeringactivitiesandmanpowerresources associated with proposals/ projects under responsibility.
• EnsuremanpowerresourcesofElectricalEngineersTeamareadequateandareutilized efficiently.
• Establishperformancecriteria,agreeperformanceobjectiveswiththeTeamanddevelopcompetency of team members
• Organizeinternalqualityaudits/peerreviewsformonitoringqualityandensuretimelyclose-outofactions.
• Provideadviceandguidancetoengineersanddesignersonimportanttechnicalissuesaswellas managerial matters.
• ProvidenecessarysupportandguidancetoProjectControl,ConstructionandCommissioning.
• ParticipateinContractReviewprocessandproviderequiredinputstoLeadEngineer.
• PerformresponsibilitiesofLeadEngineerineventoflargeproject.
• DevelopElectricalengineeringrelatedCompanyStandards.
• Interactwithpeersfromotheroffices acrossglobeonregularbasistoensureconsistencyofwork across all offices
• EngagewithQualityAssuranceforqualityissues.EnsurestrictcompliancewithCompany’s Qualityprocedures.
• Guideandsupportleadengineerstocarryoutrisk/reward/technicalintegritystudiesofthesystems related to his discipline.
• InterfaceandregularlymeetwithclientandPEMontechnicalissues,conductinternalstaffprogressmeetings.
• ParticipateinDesignReviews,SAFOP,constructabilityreviewsonneedbasis.
• EnsurestrictcompliancewithCompany’sISOQualityprocedures.
• EnsureImplementationofQualitystandard/procedureandensurethequalityofdocument producein Home office as well as in Engineering Centre.
• Leadstheactivitiesinconvertingtheprojectfromconcepttodetailedengineering.
• WorkswithinProjectBudgetrequirements.
• Accountableforoveralldisciplinerelatedactivitiesforthesuccessfulcompletionofprojectwithin allotted schedule, manpower and costs and control Man-hour over run and material over run
