Job summary

Quest Global is seeking a Lead FEA Engineer for Turbo Machinery in Bengaluru. The role involves leading advanced structural, thermal, modal and vibration analyses of gas turbine components, and mentoring engineering teams while collaborating with customers.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of hands-on experience with ANSYS Classic/Workbench, APDL, fatigue and fracture mechanics, rotor dynamics, Campbell diagram analysis, and submodeling in aerospace or power generation domains.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in FEA for turbo machinery.
• Proficient in ANSYS Classic / Workbench and APDL macro development.
• Experience in structural, thermal, modal and fatigue analysis.
• Knowledge of rotor dynamics and Campbell diagram analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced structural, thermal, modal, and vibration analyses.
• Analyze gas turbine components including blades, vanes, disks, and casings.
• Correlate simulation results with test data. Support product development activities from design through validation.
• Mentor engineering teams and collaborate closely with customers.
