Job summary

ACG World in Dahanu, Maharashtra seeks an experienced Electrical Maintenance Lead to ensure uninterrupted power supply and execute maintenance as per schedule. Lead energy conservation initiatives and coordinate with user departments to optimize electrical assets.

You will perform condition monitoring, root cause analysis, CAPA, and maintain spare parts readiness while enforcing safety, SOPs, and regulatory compliance. TPM practices and cost control are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in in-plant electrical maintenance and TPM.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement CAPA.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and energy conservation projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute capacity expansion and other improvement projects in the facility.
• Ensure zero breakdown on electrical failures.
• Ensure uninterrupted power supply in HT/LT areas by coordinating with statutory boards.
• Conduct condition monitoring and predictive/preventive maintenance.
• Analyze data to prioritize mitigation actions and implement CAPA.
• Maintain critical spares to ensure plant up-time.

Job description

Job Objective

• Lead in-plant electrical maintenance activities in order to meet uninterrupted power supply
• Plan, prepare & execute various maintenance as per schedule (in coordination with user departments) in order to ensure smooth functioning of electrical equipment and machineries
• Plan and execute innovative projects to ensure energy conservation in order to meet the approved energy budget
• Primary responsibilities

• 2. Plan and execute capacity expansion and other improvement projects in the facility
• Ensure zero breakdown on account of electrical failures
• Ensure uninterrupted Power supply in HT/LT area by coordinating with State Transmission & Distribution Board
• Conduct condition monitoring of electrical equipment and carry out predictive/preventive maintenance by utilizing equipment/machine downtime
• Analyze parameters from available log books and data and accordingly prioritize actions for mitigation plan
• Conduct root cause analysis for repeated failures and implement CAPA
• Ensure availability of critical spares in ready to use condition to maintain plant up-time
• Adhere to electrical safety guidelines at all times
• Plan, execute and ensure adherence to project tracker/planner for various improvement projects as per budget and schedule
• Coordinate with consultants/internal SMEs for designing systems wherever required
• Support other user functions in execution of their departmental projects

• Ensure implementation of various energy saving projects to achieve budgeted ECR
• Monitor, plan and execute energy cost reduction activities to achieve budgeted energy cost
• Control Utilities downtime within planned limits.
• Prepare electrical maintenance schedule
• Execute maintenance as per schedule in coordination with user department, and ensure adherence to SOP and electrical safety guidelines
• Ensure availability of critical spares in ready to use condition to maintain plant up-time
• Ensure proper documentation, update records and history cards
• Analyze repeated failures and implement CAPAOrganization Development through systems
• Power Quality analysis and mitigation of harmonics(monitoring health parameters of equipment/components for their lifecycle analysis)
• Evaluate operational performance of electrical equipment / machineries and propose for energy efficient equipment/machineries, wherever required
• Ensure adherence to c‑GMP, regulatory & statutory compliances, TPM and other applicable norms
• Carry out alternate vendor development & risk assessments in order to mitigate risk and adhere to compliance
• Ensure cost control wrt repair and maintenance in order to meet the approved budget

Internal Process

• Submit monthly energy budget tracker to Plant and Central function
• Submit daily & weekly monitoring report for energy consumption (ECR) to Plant and Central function
• Circulate PM compliance report on monthly basis to Plant and Central function

• Develop associates on multi skilling
