Job summary

Adani Group is seeking a senior Electrical Maintenance Manager for its Maharashtra plant. You will lead HT/LT electrical systems maintenance, implement preventive programs, and ensure rapid restoration during breakdowns.

Responsibilities cover plant reliability, asset management, shutdown planning, safety compliance, team leadership, energy management, budgeting, and continuous improvement through digitalization and predictive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Educational qualifications include Diploma / B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (MBA/PGDM preferred).
• 18-25 years of relevant experience in power plants, manufacturing, steel, cement, chemicals, or heavy process industries.

Responsibilities

• Electrical maintenance management of HT/LT systems, switchyards, transformers, motors, MCCs, PCCs, UPS, drives, and lighting.
• Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance programs.
• Ensure minimum downtime and rapid restoration during electrical breakdowns.
• Monitor equipment health and drive reliability improvements.
• Plan and execute annual, major, and minor shutdowns with cross-functional coordination.
• Lead electrical safety audits and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Mentor engineers and technicians and establish KPIs for the team.
• Monitor energy consumption, improve power factor, and drive energy efficiency.
• Prepare annual maintenance budgets and manage procurement and vendor contracts.

Responsibilities

Electrical Maintenance Management

• Lead maintenance of HT/LT electrical systems, switchyards, transformers, switchgear, motors, MCCs, PCCs, UPS systems, battery banks, drives, and lighting systems.
• Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance programs.
• Ensure minimum downtime and rapid restoration during electrical breakdowns.
• Monitor equipment health and implement reliability improvement initiatives.

Plant Reliability & Asset Management

• Develop strategies to improve equipment availability, reliability, and lifecycle.
• Analyze electrical failures and execute Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Drive condition monitoring initiatives including thermography, insulation testing, vibration analysis, and oil analysis.
• Maintain critical spares inventory and optimize maintenance costs.

Shutdown Planning & Execution

• Plan and execute annual, major, and minor shutdown activities.
• Coordinate with operations, mechanical, instrumentation, and project teams.
• Ensure shutdown schedules are completed within timelines and budgets.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with Electrical Safety Rules, CEA regulations, Factory Act, and applicable statutory requirements.
• Lead electrical safety audits, permit-to-work systems, and lockout-tagout (LOTO) implementation.
• Investigate electrical incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Promote a strong safety culture across the department.

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor electrical engineers, supervisors, and technicians.
• Conduct competency assessments and training programs.
• Establish clear KPIs and performance management systems for the team.

Energy Management

• Monitor energy consumption and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Improve power factor management, demand control, and energy efficiency.
• Support sustainability and cost-reduction initiatives.

Budget & Cost Control

• Prepare annual maintenance budgets and monitor expenditure.
• Optimize maintenance costs without compromising reliability and safety.
• Manage vendor contracts, AMC activities, and procurement requirements.

Projects & Continuous Improvement

• Support electrical system upgrades, modernization projects, and commissioning activities.
• Implement best practices in maintenance management and digitalization.
• Drive initiatives related to automation, predictive maintenance, and reliability engineering.

Qualifications
