Job summary

Larsen & Toubro Limited in Vadodara seeks an experienced electrical power systems engineer to design and analyze generation, transmission and distribution networks. You will work with ETAP/PSCAD, prepare technical reports and present findings to clients, while mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with project teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in power systems analysis including load flow, transient stability, and harmonics.
• Ability to prepare technical reports and client presentations.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and client offices as required.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze electrical power systems for generation, transmission and distribution.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in client meetings and project planning.
• Collect, model and interpret data to support project requirements and provide technical reviews.

Job description

• Conduct design and analysis of electrical power systems, including generation, transmission and distribution. Experience in GCC countries would be an added advantage.
• Perform electrical system studies including but not limited to
• Load Flow Analysis
• Transient Stability Analysis
• Harmonic Analysis
• Relay Setting & Coordination
• Switching Transient Analysis
• EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) Studies
• Conduct data collection, modelling, analysis and interpretation to support project requirements.
• Independently prepare technical reports, presentations to clients and other stakeholders.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation for internal and client use
• Conduct technical reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers.
• Participate in client meetings, technical reviews, and project planning
• Experience with client/ PMC like ADNOC, PDO, Saudi Aramco, EIL is preferred.
• Candidates should be flexible to travel long term /short term to various project sites and client / consultant offices based on the project requirement for document approval and resolution of site technical issues during execution.
• Advance proficiency in power systems analysis software ETAP, PSCAD and other related tools with connection study experience.
