Job summary

L&T Case Equipment Private Limited is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Lead for onshore hydrocarbon projects. You will head the engineering team for refinery and petrochemical electrical design, overseeing procurement, FAT, and client liaison to ensure timely delivery.

Candidates should have 15–25 years of experience in electrical engineering, strong IEC/IEEE knowledge, and readiness to travel long/short term to project sites and offices. BE/BTech required.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech required with relevant electrical design experience.
• Experience leading design teams for refinery, petrochemical, or fertilizer projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical design team for engineering, procurement, FAT, and dispatch.
• Directly interface with clients and manage a project in lead engineer role.
• Deliver mega projects on schedule and within budget, coordinating across disciplines and vendors.
• Provide technical guidance, review drawings, perform electrical calculations, and support procurement.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:??

• Basic and Detailed Engineering experience in Electrical Design of Refinery, Petrochemical and Fertilizer projects.?
• Should have proven abilities to lead the design team of engineers for activities related to Electrical engineering, procurement, Factory Acceptance Testing and dispatch.?
• Should have handled at least one project independently in Lead Engineer role directly facing Client in recent years. Experience with clients like Saudi Aramco, ADNOC, KOC, Qatar Energy is preferred.?
• Should be capable of delivering large/mega projects within schedule, manhour and budget constraints. Responsibilities include coordinating with other engineering disciplines, vendors, EPC teams and end-clients.
• Responsible for providing technical guidance to the team, reviewing and approving drawings/documents, performing electrical calculations, system design, procurement support for electrical equipment and mechanical packages, and review of plant and building layouts.
• Candidates should be flexible to travel long term /short term to various project sites and client / consultant offices based on the project requirement for document approval and resolution of site technical issues during execution.
• Strong knowledge of IEC/IEEE/IS standards and experience with major Clients/PMCs (ADNOC, PDO, Saudi Aramco, EIL, etc.) is essential. Familiarity with ETAP, PSCAD, SPEL and 3D tools is an added advantage.
