Job summary

Career Tree Hr Solutions in Bengaluru seeks a Senior Engineer/Lead Power System Studies to lead and deliver advanced power system studies across HV/MV/LV networks. You will coordinate with design teams, clients and global stakeholders, guide study execution in ETAP, ensure quality and on-time delivery, and mentor junior engineers.

Strong leadership and English communication are essential. Experience with DIgSILENT, PSCAD, PSSE, and Middle East projects is preferred, with exposure to protection

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering.
• 8-12 years in T&D and power system studies.
• Strong ETAP expertise (mandatory).
• Experience with HV/MV/LV steady-state and dynamic studies.
• Familiarity with Middle East projects is a plus.
• Knowledge of protection systems and coordination.
• Exposure to DIgSILENT, PSCAD, PSSE, CYMGRD, CYMCAP, Dialux is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, analytical and leadership skills.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Perform and review power system studies including Load Flow, Short Circuit, Harmonics, and Transient Stability using ETAP.
• Prepare study reports, input data requests, and technical documentation.
• Conduct grounding grid design, insulation coordination, and protection setting calculations.
• Ensure compliance with SEC, Saudi Aramco, IEC, IEEE/ANSI, NEC, and NFPA standards.
• Lead technical coordination with clients, internal teams, and global counterparts.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and quality deliverables.
• Support proposal preparation, man-hour estimation, and resource planning.
• Mentor and provide technical training to junior engineers.
