Job summary

Best Choice Consultant seeks a Process Engineer in the Chennai area with a BE/B.Tech in Mechanical and 3+ years in automobile manufacturing engineering. The role covers NPI, production and manufacturing engineering, and capacity & capex planning, with a focus on quality interfaces and Six Sigma or belt certifications.

The position requires strong collaboration with customers and internal teams to drive APQP/PPAP processes and ensure continuous improvement in manufacturing performance at the site.

Qualifications

• BE / B.Tech - Mechanical, 3+ years experience in automobile manufacturing engineering.
• Role involves NPI / Production & Mfg Engineering, Capacity & Capex Planning, Quality & customer interface, APQP, PPAP, Six Sigma, Green or Black belt.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to NPIs and production engineering for automotive projects.
• Engage in capacity planning and capex budgeting for manufacturing sites.
• Interface with quality teams and customers to ensure requirements are met.
• Apply APQP/PPAP and Six Sigma methodologies to drive quality improvements.
