Job summary

IndiaMART Noida is seeking a seasoned Frontend Engineer to design and implement scalable Next.js applications, optimize SEO and Core Web Vitals, and build reusable UI components.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with Product, Design, Backend teams, and leverage AI tools for efficient development. 5+ years of frontend experience and strong React/Next.js skills are essential. The role is on-site in Noida.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in CS/IT required.
• 5+ years of frontend engineering experience.
• 10th & 12th: 80%+.
• UG: 60%+.

Key Responsibility Areas

• Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of scalable Next.js applications.
• Build highly optimized, SEO-friendly websites with outstanding Core Web Vitals.
• Design reusable UI components, layouts, and frontend frameworks that can be shared across thousands of websites.
• Drive frontend architecture decisions, coding standards, and engineering best practices.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and technical guidance.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend (SA, SOA) teams to deliver high-quality customer experiences.
• Use AI-powered development tools and LLMs to accelerate development, automate repetitive tasks, and improve engineering workflows.
• Ensure clean documentation, reusable patterns, and maintainable codebases.
• Stay updated with emerging frontend technologies, AI-assisted development practices, and web performance standards.

Skill Set Requirements

• Strong expertise in Next.js, React.js and JavaScript.
• Proven experience building production-grade, SEO-optimized web applications.
• Strong knowledge of SSR, routing, image optimization, caching, and rendering strategies.
• Experience building scalable component libraries and reusable frontend architectures.
• Excellent coding skills with a focus on clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS, Tailwind CSS, responsive design, and accessibility.
• Experience using Git and modern development workflows.
• Practical experience using LLMs such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, Lovable, or similar AI development tools.
• Strong prompt engineering skills with the ability to effectively leverage AI for coding, debugging, refactoring, and productivity.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Deep understanding of Core Web Vitals and modern web performance optimization techniques.
