Job summary

adesso India is seeking an experienced frontend engineering leader to drive React-based applications, define architecture and coding standards, and ensure scalable, secure, and high-performance delivery.

You will lead a team of 4-10 frontend engineers, coordinate with backend, DevOps, QA, UX, and architecture teams, mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and translate business requirements into technical solutions for client projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years frontend application development experience.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on React development.
• 2-4 years of technical or team leadership experience.
• Experience leading frontend teams in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the frontend engineering team and provide technical direction for React-based applications.

• Lead the frontend engineering team and provide technical direction for React-based applications.
• Define frontend architecture, coding standards, and engineering best practices.

Client & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact between client stakeholders, architects, and the offshore development team.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Participate in requirement workshops, technical discussions, estimation, and solution planning.
• Provide regular technical updates, identify risks, and proactively recommend mitigation strategies.

Delivery Leadership

• Lead a team of 4-10 frontend engineers.
• Drive sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation, and release planning.
• Ensure high-quality and timely delivery of project milestones.
• Coordinate with backend, DevOps, QA, UX, and architecture teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Hands-on Development

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade React applications.
• Build reusable UI components and frontend frameworks.
• Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs following API-first principles.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering standards.
• Support production issue analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on expertise in React.
