Job summary

Quest Global is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Bengaluru with 6–9 years of experience to review electrical drawings, assess interconnection points, and define scope integration for substations and generation interfaces. You will prepare cable schedules and ensure quality through interface reviews.

The role requires deep knowledge of substation components (MCC/PCC, breakers, SLDs) and proficiency in BOM selection and communication protocols within power projects.

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineer with 6–9 years of experience.
• Ability to review electrical drawings for complete substation/plant.
• Knowledge on electrical interfaces between Generation unit and substation.
• Prepare Cable schedules for the complete substation.
• Define clear lines of scope integration—review and update potential differences between interconnects.
• Knowledge on MCC/PCC, GLAN, GNAC, NGR, CIRCUIT BREAKER, CRP, GCP, TCP & different types of electrical panels in substation.
• Knowledge on SLD, Three line diagram, BOM & selection of components.
• Knowledge on communication protocols in substation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate customer drawing deliverables by all Business units that are part of the project.
• Focus on drawings that show points of interconnect requiring integration by the EPC.
• Create a common formatted drawing showing point to point interfaces
• Highlight quality discrepancies and facilitate corrective action.

Electrical Engineer with 6 to 9 years of experience.

• Should be able to review the electrical drawings for the complete substation/plant.
