Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited is seeking an experienced engineer to lead CAD modelling, concept reviews, and manufacturing-constrained design releases. The role involves data management, system releases, and collaboration with suppliers and internal teams to ensure seamless part development and production readiness.

The ideal candidate will have a BE in Mechanical or Automobile engineering and substantial experience in CAD, data handling, and cross-functional coordination within a manufacturing

Qualifications

• BE in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering is required.
• Experience in CAD modelling and engineering reviews is essential.
• Strong data management and release process knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• CAD modelling and review of concepts for problems or proposals.
• Designing concepts with manufacturing constraints in mind.
• Data management and data release in the system.
• Provide TSO and TKO support.
• Perform calculations in Excel.
• Release assembly parts and generations in the system.
• Part development and supplier discussions.

CAD modelling and review of concepts for a given problem / Proposals for a new concept
Designing the above with Manufacturing constraints in place.
Data management in the system
Data release in the system
TSO and TKO support
Calculations in excel
2) Deliverables :
Assembly releases in Layout part number
Concern resolutions thru QC tools
Generation of Suspension Articulation data and release in system
Generation of GD&T scheme and checking of 2D drawing for best practices.
PCP / ROCM release in TCUA
Part sharing with interfacing system and suppliers thru CDMM
Fabrication of parts thru proto / soft tooling route
Validation of parts fabricated above.
Part development and supplier discussion

Experience

6 - 8 years

Industry Preferred
