Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Limited is seeking a Lead Engineer ATG with 10-15 years in design and development of vehicle interior or exterior trims. You will drive concept development, create engineering drawings and 3D annotations, and lead multi-concept evaluations aligned with vehicle architecture.

The role requires strong problem solving, first principles thinking, and excellent communication to collaborate across functions and deliver optimized designs for automotive applications.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or equivalent.
• 10–15 years of experience in automotive design, especially trims.
• Experience in design and development of vehicle trims and technology projects.
• Ability to generate concepts and create engineering drawings/3D annotations.

Lead Engineer - ATG Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Experience in Design & Development of Vehicle Interior or Exterior Trims
• Worked on Technology Projects
• Knowledge on Latest technology emerging in Automotive Industry
• Demonstrate knowledge, skills, and the ability to create concepet proposals, Engineering Drawings / 3D Annotations of the components/Systems
• Demonstrates ability to gather information for generating concepts. Generates and analyses multiple concepts /proposals to select the most optimum design
• Proven problem solving with First principles thinking and strong communication skills
• Creates parametric models for complex parts/ sub-assemblies by incorporating the right dimensions
• Decides parameters for gathering relevant information at a subsystem level. Interprets benchmark information to generate proposals for part/assembly
• Generates multiple alternatives of Master sections based on Vehicle Architecture, benchmarking, strength requirements and other system constraints

Experience 10 to 15 years
