Job summary

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. is seeking an experienced mechanical design engineer specializing in vehicle interiors and exterior trims. The role involves conceiving, evaluating and detailing design concepts with strong emphasis on technology integration and performance.

You will craft engineering drawings, 3D annotations and parametric models, while evaluating multiple concepts to select optimal solutions. This position requires solid technical communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in Design & Development of Vehicle Interior or Exterior Trims and worked on technology projects.
• Demonstrates ability to create concept proposals, engineering drawings and 3D annotations of components/systems.
• Generates and analyzes multiple concepts/proposals to select the most optimum design.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop vehicle interior and exterior trim concepts.

Job description

• > Experience in Design & Development of Vehicle Interior or Exterior Trims & Worked on Technology Projects
• > Knowledge on Latest technology emerging in Automotive Industry
• > Demonstrate knowledge, skills, and the ability to create concepet proposals, Engineering Drawings / 3D Annotations of the components/Systems
• > Demonstrates ability to gather information for generating concepts. Generates and analyses multiple concepts /proposals to select the most optimum design
• > Proven problem solving with First principles thinking and strong communication skills
• > Creates parametric models for complex parts/ sub-assemblies by incorporating the right dimensions
• > Decides parameters for gathering relevant information at a subsystem level. Interprets benchmark information to generate proposals for part/assembly
• > Generates multiple alternatives of Master sections based on Vehicle Architecture, benchmarking, strength requirements and other system constraints
