Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer in Coimbatore to contribute to board bringup, hypervisor-based development, and driver work on QNX/Linux platforms. You will design and debug real-time systems, optimize memory and scheduling, and implement communication protocols.

Candidates should have 7.5–11 years of relevant experience, with BE/BTech/ME/MTech in EEE/ECE/E&I/CSE, and hands-on use of JIRA, GIT, and other tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in Embedded SW Development.
• Expertise in programming using C, C++ and good understanding of OOAD & UML.
• Experience in QNX/Linux platforms.
• Good experience of Linux kernel, device drivers, and real-time operating systems, including schedulers, concurrency and memory management (e.g eMMC, NAND).
• Experiance in board bringup activities.
• Experienced in hypervisor based development.
• Expertise in troubleshooting and debugging (by instrumentation, trace logging, core-analysis, applying various tools to extract information, code-reviews, JTAG, etc.).
• Expertice in communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, SPI, I2C, UART, TCP/IP, Modbus, Ethernet.

Responsibilities

• Handson experience in using DEVOPS and Bug tracking tools ( JIRA, GIT, Polarian, Doors, RTC).
• Experienced in Design/Architecture Tools like EA.
• Strong analytical skills and hands-on experience with the tools and techniques necessary to perform root cause analysis, and ability to come up with solutions for complex issues.
• Monitor the resources in the efficient manner.
• Status of milestones and deliverables across the portfolio.
• Identifying Process gaps and implementation for efficient work environment.
