Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Technical Skills and Knowledge:



  • Manufacturing Processes: Deep understanding of manufacturing processes for electronics parts and machined, plastics components.

  • Materials: Knowledge of various material grades and their suitability for specific applications in electrical and electronics manufacturing.

  • Surface Treatment: Familiarity with surface treatment processes like painting, plating, and powder coating.

  • APQP: Experience with APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) and its application in part development.

  • Quality Tools: Proficiency in using quality tools and processes to ensure seamless flow of information on quality concerns.

  • Component Development: Ability to develop and procure components from vendors within time, cost, and quality objectives.

  • Supplier Management: Experience in vendor analysis, rationalization, capacity assessment, and time frame agreement.

  • Design Review: Ability to review design and manufacturing feasibility assessments with R&D.

  • Problem Solving: Proactive identification and resolution of issues, maintaining quality standards.

  • Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation plans.

  • Reporting: Providing regular updates on project progress and performance
