Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited seeks a senior quality engineer to oversee module-wise product quality responsibilities for DC/DC, BMS, and wiring harnesses. You will analyze field concerns, drive CAPA actions, and monitor effectiveness to reduce DCR and improve warranty outcomes.

You should have strong data analysis, problem-solving skills, and familiarity with quality tools (8D, fishbone, DOE) and IATF 16949/ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Module-wise product quality responsibilities including DC DC, BMS, and wiring harness.
• Field concerns analysis for electrical/electronics modules with CAPA follow-up & monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Escalation closures from Field and warranty analysis of electrical parts.

Job description

General requirements

• Module(Component) wise product quality responsibilities - DC DC, BMS and Wirirng harness.
• Field concerns analysis for Electrical/ Electronics module. Follow-up for CAPA implementations & monitoring effectiveness to achieve field external (DCR,Preliminary Analysis, Weekly Follow up Meeting)
• R1000 & CPU reduction of respective Platform / Module
• Escalation concern closures from Field.
• Warranty analysis of Electrical parts and disposal of failed parts.
• Knowledge on electrical commodity ( DC DC & Charger ) etc
• Knowledge on Basic EV Architecture
• Good analytical skill & statistical approach, data oriented
• Usage of Quality tools for solving concerns like 8D, fish bone, DOE, paired comparison, why why analysis etc,
• Effective interpersonal communication & presentation skills

General requirements

• Awareness of quality tools (New 7QC, 8D, Yellow Belt)'
• Awareness on quality system ( IATF 16949, ISO 9000 & 14000), certified internal auditor
• Data Analysis and Problem solving skills
