Job summary

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) seeks a Lead Engineer with extensive Oil & Gas project experience to lead instrumentation design activity. You will review specifications, data sheets and MR packages, and conduct technical bid evaluations for complex EPC programs.

Experience as a Lead or Deputy Lead Engineer on offshore O&G projects is preferred. AVEVA E3D/PDMS exposure and strong technical advisory capability are essential to drive high-impact engineering outcomes.

Qualifications

• Undergrad degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of 15 years related experience, with 15+ years average experience.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and review of Instrument Specifications.
• Preparation and review of Instrument Data Sheets.
• Preparation and review of Material Requisitions (MR).
• Conducting Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE).
• Review of Vendor Drawings for Field Instruments, Instrument Valves and Fire & Gas Detectors.
• Exposure to AVEVA E3D / PDMS.
• Review of Instrumentation Modeling in E3D/PDMS.
• Review of instrumentation design deliverables such as Cable Trench Layouts, Instrument Location Layouts, Hook-up Drawings, Cable Block Diagrams and Cable Schedules.
• Experience as a Lead Engineer or Deputy Lead Engineer on Oil & Gas projects.
• Offshore project experience preferred.
• Performs advisory and consulting work and makes authoritative decisions with far-reaching impact.
