Qualifications

  • B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech in Electrical / Electronics Engineering is mandatory.
  • 5–10 years of PCB design/development experience.
  • Experience in PCB/subsystem testing and validation.
  • Proficiency with UART, SPI, I2C, RS232, RS422 protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design, development, integration and validation of electronic systems and PCBs from concept to realization.
  • Drive hardware architecture, schematic reviews, component selection and DFT improvements.
  • Plan and oversee PCB testing, hardware validation, and system integration.
  • Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for hardware/firmware issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to accelerate product development and releases.
  • Review design docs, schematics, test plans and ensure adherence to standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement in product design, test methodologies and processes.
  • Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance for R&D outcomes.

Job description

To support R&D projects through Design, development, integration, validation, and testing of electronic and electrical systems, ensuring high reliability and compliance with aerospace and Defense standards. The role demands hands-on expertise in PCB designing, testing, system integration, and the use of advanced test equipment

  • Lead the design, development, integration, and validation of electronic systems, PCBs, and embedded hardware solutions from concept through product realization.
  • Drive hardware architecture, schematic reviews, component selection, PCB design support, and design-for-testability (DFT) improvements to enhance product performance and reliability.
  • Plan and oversee PCB testing, hardware validation, system integration, and verification activities, ensuring compliance with technical and quality requirements.
  • Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of complex hardware, firmware, and system-level issues involving microcontrollers, sensors, communication interfaces, and embedded platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electronics design, embedded firmware, mechanical engineering, manufacturing, and quality to accelerate product development and successful product releases.
  • Review and validate design documentation, schematics, test plans, and engineering deliverables while ensuring adherence to engineering best practices and industry standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement in product design, test methodologies, automation, reliability, and engineering processes.
  • Mentor and lead a team of engineers, providing technical guidance, project planning, and execution support to deliver high-quality R&D outcomes.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
  • Mandatory Qualification: B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech in Electrical / Electronics Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum 5-10 years in PCB Design & Development, testing, system integration, or relevant field.
  • PCB and subsystem testing (visual, impedance, power, signal).
  • Protocols: UART, SPI, I2C, RS232, RS422.
