Job summary

HashedIn by Deloitte in India is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to own end-to-end delivery, lead a squad, and build production-grade, secure cloud-native systems for clients.

You will extend DevOps into the AI era with MLOps, AI-native tooling, and data migrations, while mentoring teammates and ensuring reliable deployments and strong stakeholder alignment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years architecting and operating complex, scalable systems on AWS/Azure/GCP with leadership.
• Hands-on DevOps: CI/CD, IaC, Kubernetes, cloud automation; Python preferred.
• Proven cloud migration experience and/or large-scale data migrations.
• AI-native DevOps mindset with MLOps in production.
• DevSecOps fluency: threat models, scanning and vulnerability management.
• Platform mindset with reusable patterns and guardrails.
• Team leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder alignment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

About the role - As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you lead a team owning end-to-end delivery, while staying deeply hands-on. You take the pods architecture and standards and turn them into production-grade systems for clients, extending classic DevOps discipline (automation, CI/CD, IaC, observability) into the AI era cloud and data migration, MLOps, agentic AI, and security. Youre the technical point of contact for your workstream and the person who makes sure your team ships reliably and to a high bar.

• 4+ years - architecting and operating complex, scalable, secure, fault-tolerant systems on AWS / Azure / GCP, including time leading a workstream or squad.
• Deep hands-on DevOps engineering - CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, Kubernetes, cloud automation, and the platform tooling and agents on top. Strong in Python (preferred), plus Go and/or Bash.
• Proven migration experience - you've planned and led real cloud workload migrations (landing zones, wave planning, automated cutover) and/or large-scale data migrations, not just greenfield builds.
• AI-native DevOps mindset - you build agentic DevOps tooling, use AI to accelerate engineering, and have run MLOps in production. AI-first thinking is the baseline, not a differentiator.
• DevSecOps fluency - you've run threat models, stood up scanning and vulnerability management, and worked within SOC 2 / HIPAA or similar frameworks.
• A platform mindset - a track record of building reusable patterns (paved roads, golden paths, self-serve guardrails), not one-off work that doesn't scale.
• Team leadership - you've led and mentored small squads, reviewed others’ work, and set technical direction for a workstream.
• Strong communication - clear written and verbal communication, able to explain complex technical topics to any audience and align stakeholders across teams.
• Education - B.E / B.Tech, MCA, or M.E / M.Tech
