This role is for one of the Weekday's clients. Salary range: Rs 2000000 - Rs 4000000 (i.e. INR 20-40 LPA). Min Experience: 9 years. Location: Mumbai. Job Type: full-time.

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Lead to drive infrastructure automation, cloud strategy, and continuous delivery excellence. This role requires a strong technical leader who can architect scalable cloud environments, build resilient CI/CD pipelines, and foster a high-performing DevOps culture across engineering teams. You will play a critical role in ensuring system reliability, performance, and operational efficiency across on-premise and cloud-based deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to streamline code integration, testing, and deployment across multiple environments
• Architect, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
• Automate software deployments, configuration management, and recurring operational tasks
• Implement scalable containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
• Establish and maintain monitoring, logging, and observability frameworks to ensure high availability and system performance
• Lead incident response efforts, conduct root cause analysis, and drive preventive improvements
• Identify system bottlenecks and implement solutions to enhance scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency
• Participate in architecture and infrastructure planning for both cloud and on-prem deployments
• Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps best practices across teams
• Drive adoption of automation, GitOps workflows, and continuous improvement initiatives
