TheSourcing & Procurement Manager – Non-USroleleadsvarious procurement-relatedactivitiesrelated to third-party vendor engagements.Whilethe majority ofnon-US vendor contracts and purchasingwill supportHealthEdge’sIndia business units,this role will also be the sourcing/procurement lead forHealthEdge’soperations in the PhilippinesandMexico.

Centers of Excellence (COE) are teams whose primary goal is to provideexpertisein a specific field. COEs will usually provide support through training, research, and skilled leaders. In the case ofHealthEdge, our Centers of Excellence incorporate the Human Resources, IT, Legal and Financial fields, all of which provide support to our Product divisions and allows the enterprise to move forward and achieve its goals.
What you will do:
- Source (identification of vendors) goods and services for non-US business entities / non-US vendors
- Negotiate commercial terms for non-US business entities / non-US vendor contracts
- Lead the reviewofnon-USvendorcontracts,engagingthe support of legal, information security, finance, and businessleadsas needed.
- Initiate onboarding of new non-US vendors
- Maintainnon-USvendorcontracting process
- Engage offshore sourcing/procurement team as needed for raising purchase requests
- Liaise withAccounts Payable teams, as needed, to ensure purchase orders are inplace where needed for non-PO backed invoices
- Liaise with Tax team to ensure POshaveappropriate GST(for India vendors)
- Track $ savings (actual spend reduction and cost avoidance) fornon-US purchase
- Identifyopportunities toconsolidatelocal geography vendors/suppliers into a global vendor/supplier to reduce number of vendors/suppliers, number of contracts/POs, etc.
- Assess ongoing purchases toidentifypotential spending trends and key indicators (e.g., duplication, vendor/contract consolidation prospects, savings/cost reduction opportunities)
- Explore potentialnegotiationwith vendors on pricing, analyze, draft contract documents, and liaise with legal on common commercial term language to make sure it has teeth, draft the contents of process and procedure, etc.
- Manage day-to-day transactionalaspectof sourcing. The requisition and contract requests coming in, subscription/spend data tracking, etc.
- Candidate will act proactively with internal stakeholders to get ahead of contract renewals, sit in on capacity planning (partner with the business leaders) to then recommend ideal contract structure.
- Participates in the standardization of indirect procurement processes across the organization in support of reducing costs and improving supplier performance
- Works with internal stakeholders to develop Requests for Proposals
- Analyzes bid responses anddeterminebest value to company
- Evaluates new and existing service providers, negotiate performance standards and measure results of spend and services.
- ReviewsContractRequestForms andensuresrequired approvals from functional organizations such as Finance and Legal
- Work with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice and PO issues
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree (4-year) preferred
- 7+years of experience in strategicsourcing,purchasing,orprocurementrole in India
- Experience negotiating commercial terms with vendors/suppliers in India
- Basiccomputer-related skillsrequired
- English speaking
