Job summary

Epam Systems in Pune seeks a seasoned Lead Business Analyst to own product strategy for payments platform capabilities, translating business needs into actionable features. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define roadmaps and ensure features are delivered in an Agile setting.

You will drive backlog management, requirements elaboration, and stakeholder engagement while guiding a team toward iterative delivery and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years IT experience with platform products in Agile.
• Proficiency in BRD/FRD, Stakeholder Management, and Risk Management.
• Familiarity with product management, roadmaps, backlog prioritization, and feature lifecycle management.
• Ability to convert business requirements into actionable product features and user stories.
• Experience collaborating with APIs, cloud-native apps, microservices, or distributed systems teams.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision making abilities.
• Experience leading trade-off decisions across business, customer, operations, and technical priorities.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing capabilities.
• Willingness to leverage AI-assisted tools to enhance product management outcomes.
• Solid grasp of Agile and SAFe frameworks.
• Experience within Payments, Open Banking, FinTech, Banking, or Disputes domains.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Eng/IT or equivalent hands‑on experience.

• Familiarity with product management, roadmap planning, backlog prioritization, and feature lifecycle management
• Ability to convert business requirements into actionable product features and user stories
• Experience collaborating with engineering teams that build APIs, cloud-native applications, microservices, or distributed systems
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities
• Experience leading trade-off decisions across business, customer, operational, and technical priorities
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing capabilities
• Willingness to leverage AI-assisted tools (e.g., Microsoft 365 Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) to enhance product management outcomes
• Solid grasp of Agile and SAFe frameworks
• Experience within Payments, Open Banking, FinTech, Banking, or Disputes domains
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience

• Experience overseeing high-volume transaction processing or platform products
• Experience establishing product KPIs, adoption metrics, and operational health indicators
