Job summary

Opus Technologies is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with deep Payments, Reconciliation, and FinTech expertise. You will bridge customers, product, and engineering, defining requirements, driving design, and delivering payment solutions for global clients.

You will lead workshops, create BRDs/FRDs, and collaborate across Product, Engineering, and QA to ensure actionable requirements and compliant implementations.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Business Analysis and Functional Design.
• Strong domain expertise in Payments and FinTech.
• Experience with BRD, FRD, Use Cases, Process Flows, and Functional Specifications.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Job Scope:

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with deep expertise in Payments, Reconciliation, and FinTech to bridge the gap between customers, product, and engineering teams. You will play a key role in defining product requirements, driving solution design, and ensuring successful delivery of payment and reconciliation solutions for global financial services clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications.
• Lead customer workshops, requirement discovery sessions, and solution discussions.
• Create BRDs, FRDs, use cases, process flows, workflows, and functional documentation.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and QA teams to ensure clear and actionable requirements.
• Perform impact assessments, effort estimation, and solution reviews.
• Support product implementation, configuration, testing, and customer onboarding.
• Conduct customer presentations, training sessions, and stakeholder communications.
• Ensure solutions align with product standards, compliance requirements, and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 12+ years of experience in Business Analysis and Functional Design.
• Strong domain expertise in Payments and FinTech, including:
• Merchant Acquiring
• Card Issuing (Credit, Debit, Prepaid)
• Chargebacks & Dispute Management
• Reconciliation & General Ledger
• Strong understanding of payment schemes such as Visa, Mastercard, EMV, CUP, JCB, Discover, and Diners.
• Experience with Payment Gateways, eCommerce platforms, APIs, and financial transaction processing.
• Expertise in BRD, FRD, Use Cases, Process Flows, and Functional Specifications.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working directly with customers and cross-functional teams.
