Job summary

Baazi Games is seeking a senior backend engineer to lead the design and development of scalable backend services and APIs. You will own architecture, guide technical decisions, and mentor junior engineers in a collaborative environment.

The role emphasizes building robust REST APIs, ensuring performance, security, and reliability, while coordinating with Product, Frontend, and DevOps teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js backend technology.
• Strong understanding of DSA, OOP, databases, APIs, and system design.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with microservices and distributed systems.
• Good understanding of AWS/GCP/Azure, Docker, and CI/CD.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Prior experience leading projects or mentoring engineers.
