Job summary

Genpact leads AI-powered transformation with a focus on Process Intelligence and data visualization. This role drives Celonis-based data engineering efforts, owning design, pipelines, and performance optimization while mentoring a team of data engineers.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specs, build custom connectors, and ensure quality across the delivery stream in a hybrid India-based setup.

Qualifications

• Experience with Celonis Process Mining and SQL data modeling.
• Strong background in data visualization and BI reporting.
• Advanced data engineering and analytics capabilities required.

• Work with Vertica SQL to create custom Celonis activities.
• Optimize data pipelines performance and analyze process data for improvements.
• Allocate work, review deliverables, and mentor engineers.
• Enforce code review standards and build best practices.

Responsibilities

• Independently lead a data engineering team delivering Process Intelligence solutions using Celonis.
• Own the technical design, build quality, and delivery of the team’s workstream with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for the team.
• Lead the setup of data extraction pipelines with both out-of-the-box connectors as well as building custom connectors.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Celonis ETL capabilities – Extraction, SQL Transformations, Data Pools and Data Jobs.
• Experience working with Vertica SQL to create custom activities in Celonis.
• Drive optimization of the performance of data pipelines.
• Analyze process data to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Allocate work, review deliverables, and mentor data engineers within the team.
• Own code review standards, documentation, and adherence to build best practices.
