Job summary

Cyient Limited in Hyderabad is seeking a senior CAE engineer with 7–15 years of experience in meshing and preprocessing. The role requires strong Hypermesh and Nastran/Patran skills for shell and solid meshing, plus GFEM/DFEM experience.

You will perform hand calculations for static stress checks and collaborate with CAD teams (CATIA/NX) for model cleanup. Applicants should have a solid grounding in FEA fundamentals, material properties, boundary conditions, and effective communication to manage

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related engineering field.
• 7 to 15 years of relevant CAE experience, with a focus on meshing and preprocessing.
• Strong command of Hypermesh and Nastran/Patran for shell and solid meshing.
• Hands-on experience in GFEM and DFEM meshing techniques and standards.
• Perform Structural Analysis hand calculations for static stress checks like Buckling, crippling, Lug analysis, fastener check using classical methods
• Solid understanding of FEA fundamentals, material properties, and boundary conditions.
• Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., CATIA, NX) for model extraction and cleanup.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
