Job summary

Safran Engineering Services in Bengaluru seeks an experienced FEA engineer specializing in aero engine components. You will perform meshing, pre/post processing, solving, and reporting for complex models with attention to accuracy and efficiency.

The role requires a strong foundation in FEA, materials science, and engineering design, with 3–10 years of industrial experience and preference for aero engine domain knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in mechanical or aerospace engineering or related field.
• 3–10 years of industrial experience.
• Hands-on experience in finite element modeling for aero engine components.
• Strong fundamentals in FEA, strength of materials, and engineering design.

Responsibilities

• Finite Element Analysis of Aero Engine Components (meshing/pre/post processing, solving, reporting).
• 3D hex/teetrahedral mesh of complex models.
• Linear/Nonlinear static simulations.
• Knowledge of contact elements.
• Vibration analysis (modal).
• Aero engine domain knowledge is preferred.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in finite element modeling and Aero Engine Components

Key Responsibilities:

• Bachelor's / Master's in mechanical or aerospace engineering or related field with at least 3-10 years of industrial experience.
• Finite Element Analysis of Aero Engine Components (Meshing/Pre and Post Processing, Solving, Report Generation)
• Aero Engine Domain knowledge would be preferred
• Good Fundamentals of Finite Element Analysis, Strength of Materials, Engineering Design
• 3D Hexahedral/ Tetrahedral mesh of Complex Models
• Linear/Nonlinear Static Simulations
• Knowledge about Contact Elements
• Vibration Analysis (Modal)

Tools preferred:

• Hypermesh / ANSYS Workbench / ANSYS APDL / ABAQUS / SAMCEF / LS DYNA
