LCMS Field Service Engineer

Job summary

Agilent Technologies in Hyderabad (and Vizag) seeks a seasoned Field Service Engineer to provide technical and application support for analytical instruments. You will perform installations, PM, repair, IQ/OQ, and deliver customer education on-site and at COE labs.

You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot instrument transfers, and respond promptly to customer queries, while traveling extensively to meet clients and ensure high satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's in Technology/Electronics & Communications/Instrumentation.
• 4–7 years of hands-on knowledge of analytical instruments (HPLC, LCMS, LCMSMS, LCQTOF).
• Excellent numerical, verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and application support for Agilent analytical instruments to existing and new customers at central location in Hyderabad and Vizag.
• Perform installations, preventive maintenance, repair, software and hardware IQ/OQ on Agilent products.
• Lead projects requiring coordination with other functions and customers.
• Deliver on-site customer education courses and at COE labs.
• Troubleshoot method/technology transfer issues between instruments promptly.
• Respond to customer queries and help resolve escalations.
• Train internal and external teams and provide ongoing technical support.
• Participate in programs to stimulate demand for Agilent products/services and ensure proper execution.
• Coordinate with field sales teams and managers to ensure key customers are delighted.
• Willingness to travel extensively (travel up to ~75%).

Job description

Provides Technical & application services & support to external customers and Agilent customer engineers. This includes reactive and pro-active actions that result in a timely and cost-effective problem resolution with the objective to meet contractual agreements. May support third party products and occasionally visit customer sites. Acts as part of CSO Field Service staff. Serves as an internal resource on technical issues and manages product escalations. Collaborates with Agilent teams such as Support, Sales, Marketing and R&D to provide solutions to customers.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing technical & application support for Agilent analytical instruments to existing & new customers to central Location- Hyderabad and Vizag
• To perform Installations, Preventive Maintenance, Repair, software & hardware IQ OQ on Agilent products
• Leads projects requiring coordination with other functions & customers
• Deliver customer education courses on-site as well at COE labs
• Cost & time effective application method deployment on Agilent instruments
• Promptly troubleshoot method/technology transfers issues from one instrument to another.
• Respond promptly to related customer queries & help in prompt resolution of customer escalations
• Training of internal & external team and provide technical support.
• To participate in programs to stimulate demand for all Agilent range of products/services and ensure timely and proper execution of those programs
• Holds product seminars for customers, prospects, and employees
• To co-ordinate internally with all the field sales team and Managers to ensure that the key customers are delighted
• Must be willing to travel extensively.

Qualifications

• Master's/Bachelor's Degree in Technology/Electronics & Communications/Instrumentation or equivalent
• Relevant 4-7 years of professional advanced/hands on knowledge of analytical instruments like HPLC, LCMS, LCMSMS, LCQTOF etc.
• Excellent numerical, verbal, and written communication skills along with good organizational & negotiation skills
• Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SQL etc

This job has a full time weekly schedule.
