Job summary

Agilent Technologies India Pvt Ltd. is seeking a technically proficient Field Service professional to provide on-site and central-location support for analytical instruments. Duties include installation, preventive maintenance, repair, IQ/OQ, and software/hardware support for customers in Hyderabad and Vizag.

The role requires 4–7 years of instrument experience, strong communication, and willingness to travel up to 75% to support customers and educate teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Technology/Electronics & Communications/Instrumentation or equivalent.
• 4–7 years of hands-on experience with analytical instruments (HPLC, LCMS, LCMS/MS, LCQTOF).
• Strong numerical, verbal and written communication; good organizational & negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical & application support for Agilent instruments at central Hyderabad and Vizag sites.
• Carry out installations, preventive maintenance, repairs, and IQ/OQ of software & hardware.
• Lead projects requiring cross-functional coordination and customer interaction.
• Deliver on-site customer education courses and training.
• Troubleshoot method/transfer issues across instruments promptly.
• Coordinate with field sales and managers to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Travel up to 75% of the time; visit customer sites as required.

Job DescriptionProvides Technical & application services & support to external customers and Agilent customer engineers. This includes reactive and pro-active actions that result in a timely and cost-effective problem resolution with the objective to meet contractual agreements. May support third party products and occasionally visit customer sites. Acts as part of CSO Field Service staff Serves as an internal resource on technical issues and manages product escalations Collaborates with Agilent teams such as Support, Sales, Marketing and R&D to provide solutions to customers.Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to;Responsible for providing technical & application support for Agilent analytical instruments to existing & new customers to central Location- Hyderabad and VizagTo perform Installations, Preventive Maintenance, Repair, software & hardware IQ OQ on Agilent productsLeads projects requiring coordination with other functions & customersDeliver customer education courses on-site as well at COE labsCost & time effective application method deployment on Agilent instrumentsPromptly troubleshoot method/technology transfers issues from one instrument to another.Respond promptly to related customer queries & help in prompt resolution of customer escalationsTraining of internal & external team and provide technical support.To participate in programs to stimulate demand for all Agilent range of products/services and ensure timely and proper execution of those programsHolds product seminars for customers, prospects, and employeesTo co-ordinate internally with all the field sales team and Managers to ensure that the key customers are delightedMust be willing to travel extensively.QualificationsMaster’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Technology/Electronics & Communications/Instrumentation or equivalentRelevant 4-7 years of professional advanced/hands on knowledge of analytical instruments like HPLC, LCMS, LCMSMS, LCQTOF etc.Excellent numerical, verbal, and written communication skills along with good organizational & negotiation skillsMicrosoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SQL etcAdditional DetailsThis job has a full time weekly schedule.Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
