Job summary

Agilent Technologies Inc. in Hyderabad/Vizag seeks a Field Service Engineer to provide technical and application support for analytical instruments.

You will install, maintain, and repair instruments, train customers, and lead cross-functional projects to ensure timely service delivery. The role requires 4–7 years of hands-on experience with instruments like HPLC and LCMS, and frequent travel for onsite support and customer engagements.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of hands-on experience with analytical instruments (HPLC, LCMS, LCMSMS, LCQTOF).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical & application support for Agilent instruments to existing and new customers at Hyderabad and Vizag.
• Perform installations, preventive maintenance, repairs, and IQ/OQ software & hardware on Agilent products.
• Lead projects coordinating with other functions and customers.
• Deliver on-site customer education courses and training to internal/external teams.
• Respond promptly to customer queries and expedite resolution of escalations.
• Coordinate with field sales teams and managers to delight key customers.

Job Description

Provides Technical & application services & support to external customers and Agilent customer engineers. This includes reactive and pro-active actions that result in a timely and cost-effective problem resolution with the objective to meet contractual agreements. May support third party products and occasionally visit customer sites. Acts as part of CSO Field Service staff Serves as an internal resource on technical issues and manages product escalations Collaborates with Agilent teams such as Support, Sales, Marketing and R&D to provide solutions to customers.

Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to;

• Responsible for providing technical & application support for Agilent analytical instruments to existing & new customers to central Location- Hyderabad and Vizag
• To perform Installations, Preventive Maintenance, Repair, software & hardware IQ OQ on Agilent products
• Leads projects requiring coordination with other functions & customers
• Deliver customer education courses on-site as well at COE labs
• Cost & time effective application method deployment on Agilent instruments
• Promptly troubleshoot method/technology transfers issues from one instrument to another.
• Respond promptly to related customer queries & help in prompt resolution of customer escalations
• Training of internal & external team and provide technical support.
• To participate in programs to stimulate demand for all Agilent range of products/services and ensure timely and proper execution of those programs
• Holds product seminars for customers, prospects, and employees
• To co-ordinate internally with all the field sales team and Managers to ensure that the key customers are delighted
• Must be willing to travel extensively.

Qualifications

• Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Technology/Electronics & Communications/Instrumentation or equivalent
• Relevant 4-7 years of professional advanced/hands on knowledge of analytical instruments like HPLC, LCMS, LCMSMS, LCQTOF etc.
• Excellent numerical, verbal, and written communication skills along with good organizational & negotiation skills

This job has a full time weekly schedule.
