Job summary

Maersk is seeking a FinOps Billing analyst in Navi Mumbai to ensure accurate invoicing to customers and internal teams. The role involves handling daily billing operations, adherence to SOPs, and timely resolution of requests within SLAs.

You will work with Business Partners and GSC teams to deliver value, manage accounts payable/receivable tasks, and contribute to continuous improvements in financial processes. Immediate joiner preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Finance and Accounting.
• Knowledge of accounts payable/receivable processes.
• Experience in freight forwarding or SCM is preferred or required.
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PP).
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Process daily FinOps tasks and ensure invoicing accuracy.
• Adhere to SOPs/IOPs during daily operations.
• Manage accruals, invoicing, and exceptions in billing files.
• Maintain timely responses to customer emails within SLAs.
• Contribute to KPI achievement and process improvements.

Ensure delivery of value proposition to all customer segments through on
time and correct invoicing of jobs to customers, including internal
customers (ICBs) and correct and soft/hard close jobs on time.

Key Responsibility

• Has responsibility for handling and completing daily FinOps tasks in line with process IOP s and ensure quality of service in always maintained.
• Adhere to process and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Internal Operating Procedures (IOPs) during daily operation.
• Accrue, invoiced and do exception management of billing files
• Make sure accuracy and timeliness within the SLAs are met
• Able to resolve requests via email in a manner that delights customers within timeline.
• Carry out all activities in a manner that will contribute to the achievement of individual and team Key Performance Indicators (KPI s).
• Have good business knowledge / process understanding to provide a value add to the customers through effective business solutions.
• Find opportunity of process improvement and provide corresponded solution within scope.
• Share good practice with teammate to improve together.
• Participant in team engagement activities.

Stakeholder Communication

• Participate in and contribute to calls and discussions with Business Partners, along with the supervisor.
• Maintain timely and professional interactions with Business Partners and Stakeholders.
• Coordinate with other teams within the GSC to achieve business and organizational goals.

Other Responsibilities

• Adhere to return to office policies, shift scheduling, leave planning, overtime, backup planning, and comply with staff policies.
• Identify, document, and appropriately manage all major risks.
• Actively participate in relevant business contingency testing and support other GSCs during contingency procedures.
• Strictly adhere to APM-M Group culture, values, and reputation, ensuring compliance with APMM Group and CB policies.

Requirement

• Graduate, ideally Finance and Accounting
• Need to have previous experience in Freight forwarding or SCM along with FINOPS/Financial experience. While both are preferred, having either of them is a must.
• Have knowledge on accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks
• Have knowledge for operations to have full understanding of FINOPS billing
• 1 to 3 Years of experience
• Good working knowledge of MS Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Time management skill: ability to handle multi-task and manage challenging deadlines.
• Good communication & interpersonal skill and should be able to build good working relationship.
• Good stakeholder management skills and experience.
• Strong sense of ownership and responsibility.

Qualifications

Graduate of any bachelors degree.

Fluent in English with good communication skills.
