Job summary

Daali is seeking a Landscape Architect to design outdoor and indoor spaces, developing master plans for residential, commercial, and community landscapes in and around Kolkata. The role involves planting plans, 3D visuals, and coordinating with vendors to ensure accurate implementation.

You will work with internal teams across design, operations and marketing to embed sustainable practices in every project. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Kolkata.

Role Description

The Landscape Architect will be responsible for designing functional, aesthetically pleasing outdoor and indoor spaces. Day-to-day tasks include developing master plans for residential, commercial, and community landscapes; creating planting plans and layouts; and collaborating with internal teams to integrate Daali plants and planters into design solutions. The role also involves site visits, surveys, and assessments in and around Kolkata; preparing drawings, 3D visualizations, and documentation; and coordinating with vendors, contractors, and nurseries to ensure accurate implementation. The Landscape Architect will work closely with design, operations, and marketing to support brand-aligned landscape projects and ensure sustainable practices are embedded in every design. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata.

Qualifications

• Ability to develop comprehensive outdoor and indoor space concepts using Landscape Planning and Landscape Design skills.
• Proficiency in Landscaping and Landscape Architecture for functional, sustainable, and visually appealing environments.
• Experience creating detailed Planting Plans that integrate diverse indoor and outdoor plant varieties.
• Relevant degree or diploma in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in design and visualization tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar software).
• Knowledge of horticulture, plant selection for different climates, and sustainable landscape practices.
• Ability to conduct site analysis, interpret measurements, and prepare accurate drawings and documentation.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, clients, and contractors.
• Prior experience in landscape projects for residential, commercial, or public spaces is an advantage.
