Job summary

Calids Landscapes in Bengaluru, Karnataka is seeking a Senior Landscape Architect to lead landscape design projects and manage an internal design team across residential, commercial, institutional, hospitality and large-scale development projects.

The role involves leading projects from concept to construction documentation, developing concepts and masterplans, preparing design materials, coordinating with consultants and presenting to clients.

Qualifications

• B.Arch degree is mandatory.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience specifically in Landscape Architecture / Landscape Design.
• Strong design portfolio across residential, commercial, institutional, hospitality or large-scale landscape projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Photoshop is required.
• Knowledge of Lumion, Enscape or similar visualization software is a plus.

Responsibilities

Calids is looking for a Senior Landscape Architect to lead landscape design projects and manage the internal design team across residential, commercial, institutional, hospitality and large-scale development projects.

The candidate will be responsible for:

• Leading projects from concept design through detailed design and construction documentation.
• Developing strong landscape concepts, masterplans, planting strategies, hardscape ideas and overall design direction.
• Preparing and reviewing design presentations, mood boards, material palettes and design narratives.
• Managing and guiding junior landscape architects and designers.
• Allocating work within the design team and monitoring project progress, quality and deadlines.
• Reviewing drawings and presentations prepared by the team before issue to clients.
• Coordinating landscape design with architecture, structural, MEP, irrigation, lighting and other consultants.
• Attending client meetings and presenting design concepts confidently.
• Taking ownership of design revisions and ensuring client comments are incorporated appropriately.
• Conducting site reviews to ensure design intent is maintained during execution.
• Resolving design-related site issues in coordination with the execution team.
• Developing planting concepts and selecting appropriate plant palettes based on project character, climate and maintenance requirements.
• Maintaining consistency in drawing standards, presentation quality and design documentation across projects.
• Supporting the studio in improving design quality, workflows and overall team performance.
• Handling multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and timelines.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• B.Arch degree is mandatory.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience specifically in Landscape Architecture / Landscape Design.
• Strong design portfolio with experience in residential, commercial, institutional, hospitality or large-scale landscape projects.
• Excellent understanding of landscape planning, planting design, hardscape design and detailing.
• Strong conceptual design ability and visual presentation skills.
• Good knowledge of plants, landscape materials and construction techniques.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Photoshop is required.
• Knowledge of Lumion, Enscape or similar visualization software will be an advantage.
• Strong communication and client presentation skills.
• Ability to independently lead projects and manage a small design team.
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Candidates should demonstrate both design capability and leadership ability.

Experience: Minimum 3 years in Landscape Architecture

Education: B.Arch mandatory

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka

CTC: Up to 12 LPA, depending on experience and capability.
