Qualifications

• Diploma/B.Tech in Civil, Polymer, Textile Engineering or related discipline is required.
• Experience with geosynthetics testing and standard lab procedures is preferred.
• Familiarity with NABL/GAI-LAP scope and ISO/IEC 17025 helps.

Responsibilities

• Receive, prepare, and test geosynthetic samples as per standard procedures.
• Operate and maintain laboratory testing equipment.
• Record test results accurately and maintain lab documentation.
• Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025, NABL, and SOPs.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, safety, and equipment calibration.

Job Profile Laboratory Manager

Position: Laboratory Technician, Ahmedabad, Gujrat

Department: Laboratory Operations

He/She is responsible for conducting tests on geosynthetic materials (Geogrid, Geobag, Geotube, Geomembrane, Geotextile, Geogrid, GCL, BCM and other Geosynthetic material) in accordance with ASTM, GAI-LAP, ISO, BIS, EN and other applicable standards. The role includes sample preparation, equipment operation, accurate data recording, and maintaining laboratory quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• 1. Receive, prepare, and test samples as per standard procedures.
• 2. Operate and maintain laboratory testing equipment.
• 3. Record test results accurately and maintain laboratory documentation.
• 4. Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025, NABL, and laboratory SOPs.
• 5. Maintain laboratory cleanliness, safety, and equipment calibration.
• 6. Support timely issuance of test reports.

Qualification

• Diploma/B.Tech in Civil, Polymer, Textile Engineering or related discipline.

Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in testing of Geosynthetic Materials or working in Civil Engineering laboratory.
