Revvity Healthcare in Chennai is seeking a lab professional to handle specimens for prenatal and newborn screening and to perform FTS/STS/NBS promptly. You will check, confirm and document daily IQC and run EQA samples as they arrive.

You will document EQA results, prepare CAPA for discrepancies, manage stock and reorder, raise sample queries with SRT or Customer Care, and contribute to SOP updates. Fresher to 1 year, 6 days/week, on site.

Qualifications

• Fresher to 1 year of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
• 6 days working from office (Monday to Saturday).
• Background in prenatal or newborn screening is preferable.

Responsabilités

• Handle specimens for prenatal and newborn screening.
• Perform allotted tests FTS/ STS/ NBS in a timely manner.
• Check, confirm and document daily IQC.
• Run EQA samples when received in timely manner.
• Document the EQA results and prepare CAPA if discrepancies.
• Indent materials, track stock inventory, and reorder planning.
• Raise sample related queries to SRT or Customer care team.
• Write, review, revise SOPs as required.
• Assist in improving process and cost efficiency.
• Perform risk calculation for tests and submit for level 1 authorization.
• Review results (verification) after training and assessment.
• Assist in wet lab of other instruments in absence of primary operators.

Primary responsibilities

• Handle specimens for prenatal and newborn screening


• Responsible for performing the allotted tests FTS/ STS/ NBS in timely manner


• Check, confirm and document daily IQC.


• Run EQA samples when received in timely manner


• Document the EQA results once received. If there are discrepancies in the results prepare CAPA document


• Indenting materials, keeping track of laboratory stock inventory, and reorder planning


• Raise sample related queries to SRT and/ or Customer care team


• Write, review, revise SOPs as required

Secondary responsibilities

• Assist in practical implementation of process efficiency and cost efficiency


• Perform Risk calculation for all tests and submit for level 1 authorization


• Perform Review of results (verification)- L1 authorization - once training and assessment is complete


• Assist in Performing wet lab of other instruments in absence of primary operator(s)

REQUIRED COMPETENCE

Education - Any graduate/postgraduate from Life science or Diploma in medical lab technology with relevant experience.
