Job summary

Accuprobe Healthcare & Diagnostics is seeking a laboratory technician to receive, label, and analyze samples such as blood, fluids and tissues. The role involves performing standard tests, observing and interpreting findings to support diagnosis and treatment.

The incumbent will maintain accurate records, prepare required documentation, store specimens properly, and ensure adherence to SOPs, QA processes and safety guidelines within a busy clinical lab.

Responsibilities

• Receive, label and analyze samples (blood, fluid, tissue etc.)
• Design and execute laboratory testing according standard procedures, make observations and interpret findings
• Perform various bio-chemical, microscopic and bacteriologic tests to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease
• Records lab tests results and assist in technical activities
• Prepare written documentation and file as required by the superior, and assisting the superior in all tasks related to quality assurance and carry out all the tasks assigned by the superior time to time
• Prepare requisition forms and record of specimen to be sent to reference laboratory
• Storage of samples to maintain the integrity
• Transcribing materials, filing and maintaining all pathology and clinical laboratory files
• Adherence to TAT
• Follow the safety guidelines strictly as defined in the SOP's
• Receving and analyzing of samples
• Knowledge of critical test values
• Adhering to all quality parameters as per Hospital and quality norms
• Maintenance of accurate record in the software
