The Lab Technician will support diagnostic testing by collecting, receiving, labeling, processing, and documenting patient samples. Responsibilities

• Collect, receive, label, and process patient samples as per laboratory SOPs.
• Support testing in pathology, cytology, histopathology, microbiology, and haematology sections.
• Maintain sample records, test logs, equipment logs, and laboratory documentation.
• Assist in quality control, calibration, reagent preparation, and equipment maintenance.
• Report sample rejection, critical values, or testing issues to seniors promptly.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, phlebotomy, billing, and laboratory teams.
• Follow biosafety, PPE, infection control, and biomedical waste protocols.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, safety, and discipline.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and reliable laboratory support.
• Support audit readiness and quality documentation.
