Job summary

Accuprobe Healthcare & Diagnostics in Mumbai invites applications for a Laboratory Technician to join our diagnostic team. You will receive, label and analyze samples (blood, fluid, tissue), design and execute tests, and document results while adhering to standard procedures.

The role requires meticulous record-keeping, adherence to safety SOPs, and timely data entry in the laboratory software, with multitasking across tasks to support quality assurance and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Receive, label and analyze samples (blood, Fluid, tissue etc.)
• Design and execute laboratory testing according standard procedures, make observations and interpret findings
• Perform various bio-chemical, microscopic and bacteriologic tests to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease.
• Records lab tests results and assist in technical activities.
• Prepare written documentation and file as required by the superior, and assisting the superior in all tasks related to quality assurance and carry out all the tasks assigned by the superior time to time.
• Prepare requisition forms and record of specimen to be sent to reference laboratory.
• Storage of samples to maintain the integrity.
• Transcribing materials, filing and maintaining all pathology and clinical laboratory files.
• Adherence to TAT.
• Follow the safety guidelines strictly as defined in the SOP's.
