Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide L1+ support for Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
• Perform configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Windows and Linux servers.
• Monitor server health, system performance, and resolve incidents within agreed SLAs.
• Perform server patching and preventive maintenance activities.
• Provide basic cloud administration and support for AWS, Microsoft Azure.
• Troubleshoot operating system, application, and network-related issues.
• Coordinate with MSP support team for incident resolution across infrastructure, apps, and security.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L1+ support for Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
• Perform configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Windows and Linux servers.
• Monitor server health, system performance, and resolve incidents within agreed SLAs.

• Provide basic cloud administration and support for AWS, Microsoft Azure.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) administration.
• Good hands-on experience with Linux administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, or similar distributions).
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper‑V).
• Familiarity with monitoring and ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar platforms.
• Basic scripting knowledge using PowerShell or Bash is an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, Red Hat, AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, or equivalent are desirable.
