Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a skilled Azure L2 Support Engineer to provide advanced technical support for our Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure. The right candidate will troubleshoot complex issues, manage Azure services, and collaborate with engineering teams. Ideal candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in technical support, with a focus on Azure services.

Responsibilities include managing Azure infrastructure, performing system maintenance, and developing automation scripts. Work is in person with a salary range of ₹40,000 to ₹80,000 per month.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Azure L2 Support Engineer to provide advanced technical support and ensure the smooth operation of our Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will handle escalated issues from L1 support, perform in-depth troubleshooting, and collaborate with engineering teams to implement sustainable solutions and improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Incident and Problem Management: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues related to Azure services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Azure Infrastructure Support: Manage and support Azure Virtual Machines (VMs), networking components (VNets, NSGs, VPN gateways, firewalls), storage accounts, and access controls (Azure AD, RBAC, PIM).
• System Configuration & Maintenance: Perform regular system health checks, patching, updates, and configuration changes to meet operational and security standards.
• Monitoring and Analysis: Utilize Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights to track performance, proactively identify potential issues, and conduct log analysis.
• Escalation and Collaboration: Act as a liaison between L1 support and L3 engineering/development teams, escalating unresolved issues with detailed documentation and coordinating with vendors (e.g., Microsoft) as needed.
• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles to improve L1 resolution rates and overall team efficiency.
• Automation and Optimization: Develop and implement PowerShell or Azure CLI scripts for automation of routine tasks and support processes.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience in technical support or cloud operations, with at least 2 years focused specifically on Microsoft Azure.

Technical Proficiency

• Strong understanding of Azure services including VMs, App Services, Storage, Networking, Azure AD, and Key Vault.
• Proficiency in Windows Server administration; knowledge of Linux is a plus.
• Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Azure CLI).
• Familiarity with monitoring and ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.).
• Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs) and security best practices.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
