Standard Job Description (JD)Job Title: Kronos / UKG Workforce Management (WFM) Technical Consultant / Developer
Job Summary:
Looking for experienced Kronos (UKG) Workforce Management Technical professionals to design, develop, configure, and support enterprise WFM solutions. The candidate will be responsible for handling end-to-end integration, module customization, migration (from WFC to WFD), and application support to ensure efficient workforce scheduling and timekeeping processes.
Key Responsibilities & Expectations:
- System Design & Prototyping: Perform hands-on technical design, prototyping, proof-of-concepts, and development tasks for current and new Kronos/UKG implementation projects.
- Configuration & Customization: Build and configure the key Business Structure, Advanced Scheduling, Leave Modules, Timekeeper, Labor Forecasting, Analytics, and Attestation features.
- Integration Management: Design, build, and troubleshoot complex data interfaces using Workforce Integration Manager (WIM) or cloud integration platforms like Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, Azure, or AWS.
- Device & Mobile Management: Manage user workflows, notification settings, and navigators alongside technical application-side management of Kronos Clock Terminals.
- WFC to WFD Migration: Partner with core technology groups to plan and execute system migrations from Kronos Workforce Central (WFC) to UKG Workforce Dimensions (WFD/Pro WFM).
- Code Reviews & Support: Conduct code reviews with technical leads to ensure customer requirements are met. Resolve data inconsistencies, production bugs, and interface failures under ITIL framework guidelines (Incident, Problem, Change management).
Must-Have Technical Skills:
- Core Product: Strong configuration experience in UKG Kronos Dimensions (WFD) or Workforce Central (WFC).
- Modules: Timekeeper, Attendance, Advanced Scheduling, Accruals, and HyperFind queries.
- Integration Tools: Dell Boomi, WIM, APIs (REST/SOAP).
- Database: Proficiency in writing Oracle SQL and PL/SQL procedures/queries.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Professional UKG certifications.
- Knowledge of custom report generation (Crystal Reports, BIRT, or JSON-based reporting).
