Job summary

Awign is seeking a Kronos/UKG Functional Consultant to lead Workforce Management configuration and integration efforts. You will collaborate with Operations, HR and Payroll to translate requirements into scalable Kronos solutions, focusing on timekeeping and compliance.

The role emphasizes hands-on configuration, end-to-end testing, production support, and governance-aligned documentation, with emphasis on Kronos Dimensions and the Activity Module.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with Kronos (UKG) as a functional consultant, focusing on timekeeping modules.
• Strong knowledge of timekeeping, scheduling, pay rules, and compliance workflows in Kronos Dimensions.
• Proven ability to gather requirements and deliver hands-on configuration solutions.
• Experience in end-to-end testing and troubleshooting Kronos implementations.
• Understanding HR and Payroll processes as they relate to time and attendance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Operations, HR and Payroll to gather and translate WFM requirements into Kronos configurations.
• Lead functional design, configuration and testing of pay rules, accrual profiles, schedules, and employment terms.
• Provide production support and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Conduct system testing and coordinate UAT to minimize business disruption.
• Document functional requirements, test cases and configuration change logs per governance.

Job description

We are looking for a highly skilledKronos Functional Consultant – Workforce Management (WFM)to join our HR Technology team. You will play a key role in driving the optimization, configuration, and integration ofUKG/Kronos WFM solutions, ensuring alignment with operational and compliance requirements across the organization. Experience with theKronos Activity Modulewill be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders (Operations, HR, Payroll) togather and translate WFM requirementsinto scalable Kronos configurations.
• Leadfunctional design, configuration, and testingof pay rules, accrual profiles, schedules, employment terms, etc.
• Provideproduction support, troubleshoot system issues, and coordinate with vendors where necessary.
• Conductsystem testing and UAT coordination, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Document functional requirements, test cases, and configuration change logs in line with governance protocols.
• Monitor Kronos system performance and recommend improvements to drive user experience and process efficiency.

Skills & Experience

Highly Beneficial

• Familiarity with theKronos Activity Moduleand its use in labor tracking, cost allocation, or project time reporting.
• Experience working with workforce data andreporting/analyticswithin Kronos.

Preferred

• Exposure tocomplex, multi-site, or unionized US environmentswith varying award/enterprise agreement interpretations.
• Project experience insystem upgrades, new site rollouts, or global Kronos deployments.
