Job summary

Paytm is seeking a Field Sales Executive in Bengaluru to onboard merchants and promote Paytm EDC/PoS/Soundbox solutions across the territory. You will visit retail outlets, explain product benefits, and convert leads into active merchants.

You will be responsible for achieving daily and monthly targets for device deployment and transaction activation, building strong merchant relationships, providing basic training on device usage, and coordinating with internal teams for installation and

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field (MBA preferred).
• 0–3 years of experience in Field Sales / B2B Sales / Merchant Acquisition (Fintech preferred).
• Strong knowledge of local area and languages (Hindi & English).
• Must have a two-wheeler and smartphone for daily market visits.

• Identify market trends and competitor activities to develop effective sales strategies.
• Coordinate with internal teams for installation, service support and issue resolution.
• Maintain daily sales reports and update merchant data in CRM.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field (MBA preferred).
• 0-3 years of experience in Field Sales / B2B Sales / Merchant Acquisition (Fintech preferred).
• Strong knowledge of local area and local language (Hindi & English).
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
