Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Automobile or Mechanical engineering required.
• 1.5–2 years automotive service/training industry experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of petrol/diesel/CNG engine and fuel systems.

Responsibilities

Job Title : Junior Trainer (ICE & CNG vehicles)

Job Description

As a Junior Trainer (ICE & CNG), you will be responsible for delivering high-quality theoretical and practical training on Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) systems and CNG fuel systems as per industry standards. You will train students on engine fundamentals, CNG kit installation, diagnostics, servicing, and safety norms, helping them become job-ready for automotive service centers, dealerships, and CNG retrofitting workshops. The role involves hands‑on demonstrations, lab management, safety compliance, assessments, and maintaining

all required training documentation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver theory sessions on petrol and diesel engines, combustion cycles, lubrication systems, cooling systems, fuel systems, and emission controls for 2 & 3 Wheelers.
• Conduct training on CNG systems including cylinders, injectors, regulators, valves, pipes, sensors, and installation procedures.
• Provide practical training on engine dismantling/assembly, diagnostics, tuning, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting for 2 & 3 Wheelers.
• Train students on CNG kit fitment, leak testing, pressure checks, calibration, and highpressure safety protocols.
• Demonstrate the correct use of workshop tools, measuring instruments, diagnostic scanners, torque tools, and gas detectors.
• Conduct practical exercises such as fault detection, component testing, servicing, and calibration.
• Maintain lab safety standards and ensure proper handling of high-pressure CNG components.
• Maintain tools, equipment logs, workshop consumables, and ensure discipline in practical sessions.
• Prepare lesson plans, session schedules, assessment materials, and training documentation.
• Maintain trainee attendance, assessment records, documentation, and registration.
• Conduct periodic written and practical assessments and evaluate trainee performance.
• Ensure compliance with emission norms, PESO regulations, and automotive safety standards.
• Stay updated with new engine technologies, diagnostic methods, CNG regulations, and servicing trends.
• Assist trainees with OJT coordination, industry expectations, and readiness for automotive workplace environments.
• Ensure a safe, structured, and industry-aligned training experience.

Job Requirements

Education

• B.E./B.Tech: Automobile / Mechanical

Experience

Minimum 1.5 - 2-year automotive industry experience

Essential Skills

• Strong understanding of petrol/diesel/CNG engine systems, diagnostics, repair, and tuning.
• Practical experience in CNG kit installation, calibration, leak testing, and preventive maintenance.
• Knowledge of BS4/BS6 emission norms and vehicle safety standards.
• Proficiency in using workshop tools, torque wrenches, multi-meters, gas detectors, and diagnostic scanners.
• Ability to read service manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Strong communication, demonstration, and classroom management skills.

Preferred Skills

• ASDC Trainer Certification (ToT).
• Certification in CNG safety, CNG kit fitment.
• Experience in automotive workshops, dealerships, or CNG retrofit centers.
